Strip / plate
Strip and plate are flat, semi-finished metal products distinguished primarily by their thickness. Strip
Strip refers to flat metal products with small to medium thickness, typically up to 26 mm. They are used in applications such as saw blades, tinplate, and automotive components.
Heavy plate
Heavy plate refers to flat products with a thickness exceeding 3 mm. Unlike hot strip, they are not wound into coils. Heavy plate is used in the construction of bridges, ships, and drilling platforms.
Thick plate
Thick plate refers to flat products with a thickness greater than 150 mm. Typical applications include power plant pressure vessels as well as steelmaking ladles and casting pans.
